Moshi
Located in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, close to the Kenyan border in Northern Tanzania, the vibrant town of Moshi is known as a coffee-producing hub boasting vast coffee plantations. The majestic snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro towers over this little African town. Moshi serves as the gateway to the Kilimanjaro National Park and provides an excellent base from which to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Visitors can enjoy day trips, short hikes, or longer expeditions using Moshi as a starting point. Other popular activities include: spotting the Big Five on a wildlife safari, visiting a local village to learn about Maasai culture, and sampling mouth-watering Tanzanian cuisine.
Day Itinerary
Kilimanjaro airport – Moshi 1 h. transfer
Program: Pick up customers at Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to Moshi by private car for overnight.
Activities: If you have time you can have a town tour with your safari guide otherwise you can relax at the lodge.
Overnight: Chanya Lodge
Nestled on the outskirts of Moshi town, in Tanzania, Chanya Lodge is situated at the foothills of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. The lodge comprises of 32 fully furnished cosy rooms with a mixture of singles, doubles, twins and triples, in a semi-bungalow style setting. Arusha
Resting at the foot of Mount Meru, the sprawling city of Arusha is known as the safari capital of northern Tanzania. It serves as an excellent base from which to explore the remarkably scenic surrounding area which includes majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as the Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro National Parks. Arusha is a good spot to take a day or two off from the safari circuit as it features a temperate climate and lush surrounds. Visitors can look forward to exploring the wildlife-abundant Serengeti National Park; the magnificent Arusha National Park; and taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Meru, Africa’s fifth highest mountain.
Day Itinerary
Marangu – Arusha 1 h. transfer
Program: After breakfast we transfer to the Kilimanjaro National Park for trekking with local guide and picnic lunch. We start from the gate at 1830 meters near the village of Marangu and continue through the forest path to reach the Mandara Huts (2700 m). If we still have energy continue to the nearby Maundi Crater before returning to the entrance gate.
Activities: trekking on Kilimanjaro.

- Day 3: Marera Valley Lodge, Karatu
Karatu
Travellers heading for the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater will pass through the town of Karatu in the green hills of Tanzania’s northern highlands. Presided over by the towering Ol Deani Volcano, this small, colourful town serves as a popular overnight stop for visitors exploring the area’s many game parks. Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park, situated within Tanzania’s spectacular Manyara Region, is an awe-inspiring national park comprising of granite ridges, river valleys, mixed vegetative landscapes, and free-roaming wildlife. During the annual dry season, the Tarangire River is a magnet for thirsty wildlife. Large herds of elephants and migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland gather and not surprisingly the predators follow. With lion being among the most commonly spotted animal, it is a rare day that a visitor does not spot this majestic animal prowling or grazing. Tarangire is also the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as oryx and gerenuk are seen regularly. This expansive area is also known for its spectacular baobab trees, its breathtaking views of the Masaai Steppe and the wondrous mountains to the south.

Program: After breakfast, departure for Tarangire Park for wildlife sighting with picnic lunch. Activities: game drive.

Central Serengeti

Karatu – Ngorongoro – Serengeti 3 h. transfer
Program: After breakfast we drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We proceed crossing Ngorongoro Highlands until Serengeti gate, here we start the game drive for next 2 days or so.

leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants and many other wild animals.

- Day 5: Baobab Mara Luxury Camp, Northern Serengeti
Northern Serengeti
Located between the Central Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve to the north, the Northern Serengeti is a remote African wildlife wonderland. The vast, rolling savannah of the Northern Serengeti, is known as the hub of the great migration. The landscape is characterised by vast stretches of savannah interspersed with acacia trees and riverine woodlands. Wildlife can be seen along the banks of the Mara River and visitors can view the annual spectacle of the half a million migrating wildebeest. Commonly spotted wildlife include: a multitude of plainsgame such as buffalo, zebra, gazelles, impala, giraffe as well as lion and leopard. Visitors can look forward to bird watching, hot air ballooning, game safaris and guided bush walks.
Day Itinerary
Serengeti Central – Serengeti North 2.5 hours with en-route game drive.
Program: After breakfast, we proceed to move to northern Serengeti to Lobo, Bologonya and Mara regions looking for the Great Migration.
Activities: game drive.
In Lobo, Bologonya and Mara regions in North Serengeti, we can spot the Great Migration during summer (July to October), the herds move north and aggregate before crossing the Mara River full of big crocodiles.
Overnight: Baobab Mara Luxury Camp
Baobab Mara Luxury Camp is located in Mbalibali, Serengeti National Park. The campsite offers luxurious tents surrounded by acacia trees and overlooks the plains. Serengeti North – Serengeti Central 2.5 hours with en-route game drive.
Program: After breakfast, we continue with the game drive in the Northern Serengeti with special attention to the Great Migration and then drive to Central Serengeti for overnight with en-route game.

Program: After breakfast we drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, today we descend into Ngorongoro crater for game drive with pic-nic lunch.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see while on safari in Tanzania for its high density of wild animals. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a conservation project where the Maasai and their livestock live together with wild animals.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge
Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge enjoys an idyllic location in the green Marera valley just before Karatu village.
