3 DAYS TARANGIRE, NGORONGORO CRATER & MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

DAY 01:

ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

At 0830hrs pick up at your hotel with packed lunches and drive towards Tarangire National Park approximately 118km from Arusha, Tanzania’s third largest national park famous for its large herds of elephants. Apart from baobab trees that are wonderfully dotting the park it is also a sanctuary for birds with estimated 550 bird species. Tarangire River is the only source of water all year round which draws animals to the river which gives a spectacular view of great wildlife diversity from lions, buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests. Lunch will be served by our professional guide at the designated picnic site. Late afternoon drive to Manyara for dinner and overnight at Manyara Tortilis Camp (FB)

DAY 02:

NGORONGORO CRATER RETURN TO MANYARA

After breakfast you will descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world and designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage site, it is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft (610 metres) high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck, the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Late afternoon drive back to Manyara at a leisurely pace arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight at Manyara Tortilis Camp (FB)

DAY 03:

LAKE MANYARA TO ARUSHA

After breakfast, drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive, With the size of 330 sq km most of it about 200 sq km is alkaline soda lake, when the water level is high is a breeding ground for birds. It is ideal for game drive during dry season and bird watching in wet season. Lunch will be served at a picnic site. In the afternoon drive back to Arusha and drop off at Masailand Safari Lodge (BB)

DEPARTURE: ARUSHA TO KILIMANJARO INTL’ AIRPORT (JRO)

After breakfast at leisure; afterward transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your outbound flight. End of 3 Days Tarangire Ngorongoro Crater & Manyara National Park. End of During your 3 Days Tarangire Ngorongoro Crater & Manyara National Park. On day 3.
