Kilimanjaro airport – Arusha 1 h. transfer
Program: Pick up customers at Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to Arusha by private car for overnight in town. Activities: If you have time, you can have a town tour with your safari guide otherwise you can relax at the lodge.

Arusha

Resting at the foot of Mount Meru, the sprawling city of Arusha is known as the safari capital of northern Tanzania. It serves as an excellent base from which to explore the remarkably scenic surrounding area which includes majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as the Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro National Parks. Arusha is a good spot to take a day or two off from the safari circuit as it features a temperate climate and lush surrounds. Visitors can look forward to exploring the wildlife-abundant Serengeti National Park; the magnificent Arusha National Park; and taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Meru, Africa’s fifth highest mountain.

Day Itinerary

Arusha – Arusha NP 45 MINUTES transfer.

Program: After breakfast, transfer to Arusha National Park for game drive and walking safari and in the afternoon transfer to the accommodation near Tarangire for dinner, and overnight.

Activities: Game drives and walking safaris with the park ranger.

The Arusha Park is a mountain park nestled between Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro, offers a completely different landscape from other parks and is the only one where you can see black and white colobus. Flamingos populate the Momela lakes and are very numerous in October.

Arusha National Park

Situated in northeastern Tanzania, the Arusha National Park is set against the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. This 552 square kilometre park is renowned for its other-worldly scenery and excellent choice of trekking possibilities. This beautiful area is divided into three parts: Mt. Meru, a spectacular volcanic cone; the Ngurdoto Crater, with its lost-world feel; and the multi-hued Momela Lakes. The park features a wide range of habitats that provide a home to an array of wildlife and plant species. Commonly spotted animals include Cape buffalo, giraffe, zebra, warthog, monkey, flamingo, lion and elephant.

Program: After breakfast we drive to Tarangire Park for the game drive with pic-nic lunch. After the game drives, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Tarangire is the river crossing Tarangire National Park, the park is famous for big herds of elephants, the huge

baobab trees and the high number of predators. There is a lot to see and explore here.

Overnight: Marera Valley Lodge

Marera Valley Lodge is located between Karatu Town and Rohia Village and to the main road to Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Karatu – Manyara 45 min transfer.
Program: After breakfast we proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive with pic-nic lunch. Activities: game drive.

Lake Manyara National Park is famous for biodiversity, the park includes different environments: the lake, the forest and the plain. The lions climb the trees because they don’t like wet soil due to underground springs. Rich in primates, birds and big mammals.

Situated in Tanzania’s central-northern region with the Lake Manyara to its east and the Manyara Escarpment to its west, the Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats supporting an array of wildlife. This small park is home to surprising biodiversity and features a magnificent landscape of acacia woodlands, forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. The park supports over 400 species of bird and the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world. Karatu – Ngorongoro – Serengeti 3 hours transfer.

Program: After breakfast, we leave Karatu village and enter Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We proceed crossing

Ngorongoro Highlands until Serengeti gate, here we start the game drive for this day. Activities: game drive.

Program: After breakfast, we proceed to move to northern Serengeti to Lobo, Bologonya and Mara regions looking for the Great Migration.

October), the herds move north and aggregate before crossing the Mara River full of big crocodiles.

Northern Serengeti

Located between the Central Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve to the north, the Northern Serengeti is a remote African wildlife wonderland. The vast, rolling savannah of the Northern Serengeti, is known as the hub of the great migration. The landscape is characterised by vast stretches of savannah interspersed with acacia trees and riverine woodlands. Wildlife can be seen along the banks of the Mara River and visitors can view the annual spectacle of the half a million migrating wildebeest. Commonly spotted wildlife include: a multitude of plains game such as buffalo, zebra, gazelles, impala, giraffe as well as lion and leopard. Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti, together with Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park, constitute Africa’s most famous wildlife park, spread over the enthralling landscapes of northern Tanzania.
